Join us on a walk through the picturesque streets of Athens’ old city “Plaka” and visit 3 unique local wine bars, each with its own history and personal style.
We do not just try wine, we get the information about each variety, the ways it is made.
Get ready to be amazed by the long and very interesting history of Greek wine, which is considered to be one of the best in the world!
We try 6 different varieties of Greek wine all of them grown and produced in Greece by local vintners, each of them chosen for its distinct taste and origin.
What will you taste:
6 glasses (75ml) of wine p.p., 2 glasses of white wine (Moschofilero & Moschato varieties), 2 glasses of red wine(Agiorgitiko Nemeas & Xinomavro Naousas) and 2 glasses of rosé (Mandilaria & Amyntaio’s Xinomavro).
Meze (Greek appetizers) served at each wine bar (rusks or salty sticks, cheese, olives, tomato).
Reserved table on all venues
An experienced, educated, certified (EFR) & friendly facilitator will be accompanying you to assist you with anything you might need!
Our activity takes place in the outdoor areas of the venues, following all the Covid-19 guidelines.
Starting Saturday, November 6th 2021,indoor venues such as restaurants, bars, and theaters will only be accepting vaccinated and recovered customer, while tested costumers can only sit outdoors.
